I don't want money coming out of my…
I don't want money coming out of my account, I don't drink wine, I got a gift for sometime special and now they want to keep taking my money.
I tried to cancel but doing that let's them have my money as they won't just give it back. so I have to pause it, which I did but now they have started again after 3 weeks.
this is not on.
I want my money refunded.

Lousy delivery service; lousy communication process
No direct means of communication with a customer service staff member...only a Chat Bot ( which was useless ). The earliest timeframe that Naked wines would respond to a chat bot query - 72 hours. Would I use this wine delivery service again...NEVER!! Better of going to Dan Murphy's direct.

Stay away, stay away, stay away
This company's business practices are dodgy as h*ll. Signs you up for an 'angel account' without asking for your permission. Then deducts a monthly amount from your credit card. Tried to get a refund - they refused. Try to delete your account? Impossible on their website, had to call in. Stay away.
Besides, the wine is rather mediocre, you will get a better deal for the same quality of wine at BWS.

We would like to clarify that our Angel membership cases are an opt-in program, and any monthly contribution is only applied after a customer actively signs up.

Deceitful unethical company
After seeing how many people are being deceived by this hidden monthly fee program they have no idea they subscribed to, I will definitely be contacting consumer affairs. It’s a disgusting strategy and needs to be reported. What a deceitful and un ethical company this is.

This is always optional and can be cancelled at any time, and any unused balance remains yours.

If the Angel membership is not something you are wanting to continue with you are more than welcome to cancel at any time with a full refund of your account balance.
We send ongoing emails about the subscription, receipts of all orders that have been placed and occasionally call our new customers. Plus we include an onboarding booklet in the first order. If you didn't receive any of these I would appreciate you sending us an email to chat@nakedwines.com.au, so we can investigate and rectify, as we don't want this to be an ongoing issue for our customers.

I placed my Christmas order on 14…
I placed my Christmas order on 14 December for three boxes of wine, due to arrive on 19 December. Two boxes arrived early on the 17th, but the third was returned, which immediately caused concern — especially as the exact same thing happened last year before my husband’s 50th birthday.
To make matters worse, I received an email today saying the third box had been delivered, but it definitely had not. I stayed home all day waiting for it.
I contacted Naked Wines customer service and spoke with Lawrence, who was extremely sympathetic, professional, and helpful. I can’t fault him at all.
However, this is now the second time this has happened right before an important event, and it’s clear that logistics is not Naked Wines’ strong point. For a subscription service, reliability is essential, and unfortunately this experience has left me seriously considering cancelling my membership.

Purposefully Hidden Angel Automatic Monthly Subscription
Wines taste awful, not worth the marketed prices (retail price is a lie since you can't get those wines anywhere else so the actual retail price is what you pay for it).
They purposefully sign you up for the angel account but not properly show anywhere whether or not you have signed up. I checked my subscriptions like three times and did not find anything. It turns out angels program was a separate account with one very hard to find point of entry.

I tried out the Naked Wine website because I received 4 x $100 Gift Vouchers. I cannot use the Gift Vouchers on the same order. Nor can I navigate through the Cart to make updates. If I cannot order, I wont be buying their wine.

The vouchers are an introductory offer of $100.00 of a case of 12 wines. They are limited to one only and are distributed by our partnering companies to hand out for us.

disgraceful unauthorised monthly deductions
If you buy their wine they automatically sign you up for a membership where they take money from your credit card every month and turn it into purchase credit. They make it very painful to try and get your money back. The wine isn't that great either.

As an Angel, you'll receive discounted wines and free monthly bottles when buying 12 or more bottles.

Every delivery has been a delectable delight.
Today Amber helped me select a custom collection of wines based on my previous preferences. She was kind, enthusiastic and professional in her approach. Naked wines didn’t have to phone to help me, but they did, they could have let me credit go without me being aware instead, Amber took her time, and was excited to hear what I enjoyed. She put together a delivery she knew I would appreciate, especially with Christmas coming!

Concept good, implementation too often bad
The concept - connecting end customers with producers more or less directly -- is a great one and the reputation system is rather helpful but ... fast and reliable delivery is too often not their forte. They also do not seem to understand what delivery means. Confidential to the Naked Wines folks: Delivery is not having to pick up your box with 15 bottles at the nearest depot, or post office. Look it up.
This post is based on years of experience, and another bad one yesterday.
Update: This is 16 December 4 pm. The box was supposed to reach me 3 December. Numerous communications with "customer happiness" reps later, I am still waiting and have not been given the update this morning that I was promised yesterday. Best to stay away from this pathetic bunch.
Another update on 18 December 5 am. I was informed yesterday arvo that, since Aramax can't locate the box, the good folks at Naked packed a new box which is now scheduled to arrive 22 December. Hope springs eternal, I guess.

I received $100 voucher for wine, though it’s a trick and makes you spend money to be able to use the voucher, do not recommend, should be honest and say $100 voucher when you spend “so much” hate scams like this!.

Claimed a voucher years ago, but never received my order due to appalling 'delivery' from Aramex. Received a voucher after purchasing some shoes... can't redeem as I've already claimed the same voucher. Won't waste my time redeeming any vouchers, or ordering from Naked Wines again as I know I'll never receive my order

Missing an order because of a failed delivery is incredibly frustrating, and we completely understand why you’d feel hesitant to try again. The vouchers are single-use, so if one was claimed years ago it can’t be redeemed again, which is why the second one didn’t work, but that doesn’t help if your original order never arrived.

The wine vouchers included in Global Shop Direct orders are genuine, but they do have a few eligibility conditions (like being a first-time customer), which can be frustrating if you only find that out after trying to redeem it.

Wine left in the sun
My wine was delivered on a different day than I was told it was coming, so the courier left the box in the sun for hours whule I was at work. Also I ordered a box of 1 dozen mixed whites but got 11 whites and 1 red. dont think Ill be ordering again.

Delivery dates are target dates rather than guaranteed, but your order still shouldn’t have been left out in the sun for hours. And getting 11 whites and 1 red instead of the full dozen you ordered is absolutely not okay. I completely understand your frustration.
