Quick appointment, clean premises, clinicians, nurses reception were all good. Use of kenalog was good as I didn't need to use any eye drops . Results of cataract surgery both eyes were excellent.
I thought the surgery was excellent but I wasn't impressed with the information provided either pre or post operation.....I felt I was treated a bit like a conveyor belt.....not as I would have... Voir plus

Everything about Optegra is superb
Everything about Optegra is superb. Everyone is very professional, efficient & kind. Every step of the way was explained & the surgeon Mr Robert Petraca explained what was happening all through the surgery.
The Receptionists,, Optometrists,, Nurses & the Consultant all displayed kindness, empathy & reassurance making the experience of surgery a pleasant one.

Relax ...you are in the care of first class professionals
From the reception desk through to completion of my 2nd eye op...the attention, assistance,explanations and care i received from everyone was excellent..Resulting in a relaxed reassured informed pre and post op experience. The take home information booklets have been invaluable.

You have to follow up with optician after second cataract.
Staff were supportive and relaxed and all ran to time. The op itself was efficiently carried out.
My only complaint is that after the 2nd op I was expecting to be discharged prior to getting new glasses. On enquiry it seems that Specsavers weren't told to contact me either so I was waiting to hear that I could go ahead. Seems like a lack of clear communication somewhere.

Reassuring professional service
I imagine that most people approach cataract surgery with a degree of apprehension. This notion is immediately dispelled when entering Optegra. The staff are all knowledgeable, friendly and reassuring. The procedure itself is straightforward, painless and over relatively quickly.
The end result of cataract surgery is immediately noticeable and only goes on to improve within days.

Staff and surrounding was excellent. The procedure took 5-6 minutes after preparation. No need for eye drops after surgery.

Professional, quick and efficient.
It was unfortunate that hot water system broke down 2 weeks before and you cancelled everyone but after we got there. These things happen and I suppose and difficult to notify us quickly enough, maybe a text.
