Preloved Avis 52

Tried to sell a kitten on there. By the time they sent me a letter with a pin on it and approved my advert the kitten had grown up, got a job and moved out. Despite following all guidelines my advert kept getting rejected. Was a very frustrating process.

Paid to have upgraded membership so I could contact sellers. None of my messages were replied to. Contacted Preloved for explaination/help - and have heard nothing.
So basically it seems a con - and I am trying to get my membership payment back.

I have a very bad experience very hard to use
I keep putting advertisements on but never show up on website.
A complete waste of time

Save your money and time do not pay for membership I don’t think they actually have any staff to review your post been waiting 2 day for add to be approved pay £15 to get extra picture of pups for sale then the haven’t approved images but not saying why very bad site better on pets4homes

Used to be a good site for selling livestock. Now utter rubbish and I can't even post an ad which follows 'guidelines" it's declined after well over a week of being reviewed. I also pay for this service, waste of money.

What a dreadfully amateurish site this is.
Also, the folk at their helpdesk seem to know nothing about anything and adopt a disturbingly arrogant stance.

I rather imagine that their website is put together by 12-year olds since it is clearly untested and functions (not) so badly.

I keep posting my advert from my Staffordshire bull terriers I have done this over 5 times in 3 days and you don’t tell me how it doesn’t meet the guild lines I’ve read them a 1000 times iv nearly taken out the whole description either fix it or I want a refund because I can’t place a add that I paid £15 for membership I’ve sent 100 messages and no reply’s you go to your sent box and there’s nothing what’s going on. Name is blu&gucci

When trying to pay by credit card -
1) displayed 'Individual payments GBP 3.00 (Adjustable by merchant)'. I don't want them adjusting payment. Which may also enable them to take whatever they like, whenever they like.
2) displayed 'We will store these card details. If you are not the cardholder it is your responsibility to get permission for any payment(s) to be taken, and inform them of changes to the amount.'
Unless you contact us, we will use this card for future payments in line with the agreement indicated above.
Did not agree to this condition so got 'error' message - You must accept the agreement in the 'Use of payment card details' section to proceed.
What on earth makes them think they can use my credit card how they like?

Why would I pay £5 just to get a contact number to reply to an ad. Cant imagine many people would bother.

Bitterly disappointed. Buyer was fraudulent. Prelove's reaction to me was too apologise but do nothing to protect me. I gave access to my account so they could see buyer was at fault. So I have found Action Fraud and will deal with this myself.

Great website.Interesting things on there and you do get responses quite quickly.

I bought horse trailer last week. First time of using preloved. Able to view item at sellers house first then simply pay by BACS over my mobile phone. Wow took all the stress out of knowing what you were buying
