Samsung Ireland is actually Exertis…
Samsung Ireland is actually Exertis Ireland and also known as Macro Evolution. Stay well away is my advice. I traded in a perfectly working Galaxy A51 for an A53 and they tried to con me and get back the trade in difference by saying the phone was damaged. Even after sending them photos I took before I sent old phone to show it's pristine condition. Scam artists. They will advertise trade ins and then try get more money from you. I'm not the only customer who's has had this experience.
Samsung Ireland dishonest and disrespectful service
Samsung Ireland aftersales service does not exist.Exertis are agents for Ireland but take no responsibility for service. You are passed on to a telephone number that is never answered.I attempted to contact Samsung through Live chat. They in turn twice gave me a reference number and promised a representative would contact me within 48 hours. This was a promise broken on two occassions.Whats interesting is that Samsung chat sends you the text exchange after you make contact .I have bonefied evidence of their false promises made but obviously this is not a concern for Samsung. My issue which was to get a 10% discount which has never been honoured and this continues to be the case.I rang the U.K.because there is no service in Ireland and spoke to a operative whom also promised that Samsung would contact me concerning my refund. This was also not followed through on.At present after buying a Premium phone I get a service that shows complete disrespect for the customer including short changing the customer approximately 110euros.
Shameful.

If I could give no stars I would Samsung is a disaster
If I could give no stars I would, unfortunately people probably don't look at reviews for Samsung as they think big company good customer service, spend nearly €800 on a vacuum with a 100day return guarantee, got a refund code but after 3 weeks its impossible to process teh return, I am so frustrated, have conacted DID electrical who I bought it off and waiting for a reply, next avenue I will be going down the small claims court, its just crazy
3rd of May 2022 update, after absolutly no help from Samsung I contacted DID electrical who I bought the vacuum off online and within about 3 emails they agreed to give a full refund on return to my local DID store, 5 stars to DID electrcial on this occasion. The moral of the story is never buy anything from Samsung online, go through a local shop or local shop with an online shop if you are going to buy a Samsung product, from my experience I will never buy another Samsung product again, what a horrible experience with Samsung.
RUN A MILE
If you have visited the Samsung website, I suggest you leave immediately and do not make the mistake of purchasing from their website. €1399 paid for a phone and they supposedly have no record of my order despite emailing on transaction numbers, screenshot proof of payment and their own order emails. I've no phone, out of pocket €1399 and their phonelines are down. Webchat directs you to a phone number, which doesn't work. Oh and "Samsung Ireland" twitter can only deal with UK customers? Cause that makes sense.
Very bad customer experience from such…
Very bad customer experience from such a large company. I purchased a s21 ultra enterprise edition phone around 3 months ago. This phone is not suitable for my business I have been calling Samsung since I purchased the phone for help but have had no joy.
Never delivered Samsund don't care - No Customer Care at all
PLEASE DON'T MAKE PURCHASES ON SAMSUNG WEBSITE - THEY DON'T DELIVERY IT AND THERE IS NO CUSTOMER CARE
I made a purchase on Samsung Ireland website and 2 days after received a note from the delivery company UPS. Everything was ok but UPS actually never delivered the parcel and Samsung simply don't care at all.
I've tried to contact them everywhere and they tell me to call a number that I've called at least 100 times and nobody picks up. I've got a response by email but the attendent lied to me, so same as no response. She said she contacted UPS and they told there was an issue with the driver and it would be in next day. Well, I called UPS and they gave me a different answer so I'm pretty sure she didn't even bother to look at it. SO DISRESPECTFUL! Do they think that we have nothing else to do that we have forever to be chasing for parcels? Anyways, UPS says the package is lost, and now? I make a purchase on Samsung they have to take responsibility for the delivery as well. It's so frustrating and reading the reviews I see I'm not the only one. Unfortunately, it was too late for me.
Samsung and their dealer EXERTIS.COM - FRAUDSTERS
I ordered wrong pen for my fold 3, was told to send it back and was promised they would send me replacement of fold edition pen..almost 2 months ago.. ever since i have sent pen pro back never heard from them again, their phone lines dont work, numbers samsung uk provides-dont work, online support useless. And they dont answer my emails either.. so would not suggest having any bussiness with exertis.com who is dealers of samsung ireland..or samsung in general..
UPS & Poor Customer Service
No problem with purchasing or using the site. However, they use UPS as a delivery service. I've never had a problem with any other company but UPS seems to live up to its reputation of not delivering items. Because of this, I ended up using the Live Chat help function & was left waiting for help for nearly 4 hours until, ultimately, it shut down at 8pm. I've since discovered I could have gotten the same items at a different reputable store at the same price with none of this delivery hassle. I know for next time & certainly won't be buying direct from Samsung again unless they change courrier to DPD or similar.
Tab S8 Ultra
I ordered a Tab S8Ultra when preorders opened in February. Took about 10 attempts to get the student discount to apply - but eventually, it did. Changed my mind the next day and opted to cancel the order. No option to cancel the order online despite my order still showing ‘processing’. Okay. So then I contacted Samsung Ireland chat which either never responded or kept transferring me to ‘escalate’ the problem. Days of this and failed promised calls from supervisors all to simply cancel an order. Baffling. Tried ringing a number of numbers listed by Samsung Ireland. One straight up connects you to Samsung UK who can’t help. The other never answered in the week of trying. Absolutely non existent customer service. Eventually got a response from their email team and apparently it was too late to cancel! Well, perhaps if I could have contacted support through the phone even once in the 100 attempted calls or been helped on their chat service spanning a week it wouldn’t have been ‘too late’ by that point. Received the device and returned it immediately. Refund was issued promptly. I dread to think what would have resulted if I had a faulty device and needed prompt customer service. Abysmal customer service by Samsung Ireland - I’d steer well clear as they simply don’t hand a functioning customer service branch in Ireland.
Customer service was goof and helpful
Been using samsung phones for years but…
Been using samsung phones for years but as a tech company, its website is useless, does not work, customer service does not load. This is the kind of service that is causing you to lose customers.
Worst customer service EVER
I purchased a s20 this year and the…
I purchased a s20 this year and the motherboard went on it and because there was a crack on the screen it wasn't covered so that's 1000+ binned.. I have two 65 uhd 4k tvs.. One stopped working correctly in October and was sent by Samsung to Dublin to be repaired by an awful company, there customer service was rude.. Id recommended ringing them and pretending your a customer and instantly you will be met with a rude and unprofessional personality.. The company In Dublin that was supposed to have the TV for a week actually had it over 2 months and I only received it two weeks ago and it's still not repaired because I still have pixelated lines all over the screen!!! My other 65 inch TV which is only 6 months old decided last night to stop working completely with no picture, power or sound which ruined our new years night as we have 5 kids and every new years we sit down an binge movies together as a family night! So to say the least iv lost all faith in Samsung! Almost 5k euro spent on Samsung products and not one of the working correctly.. Iv been so stressed over the last few months between my phone dying which was vital to my business! And my tvs either gone for months and completely dying! My anxiety is through the roof at the moment and I have lost all faith in Samsung.. I now have to look forward to arguing and stressing over my tvs for the next few weeks which Is a horrible way to start the new year!!..ringing Irish numbers that don't work or staff that couldn't be bothered picking up the phones.. I'm disheartening to say the least
Avoid at all costs!
Ordered a soundbar which said was 'in stock' when placing the order. They happily took a significant sum of money for said bar and then nothing! Managed to get hold of someone who said there was a delivery delay. That was six weeks ago and no contact since with any updates. Very disappointing, would not recommend.
I have been trying to get through to…
I have been trying to get through to samsung and after speaking to 9 operators 2 online and 7 on the phone nobody can put me through. I would not recommend this company as the support is terrible. neither the number or email address they gave me work and when i asked for the contact details of the complaints team they advised it was the same email and number that was not working.
gave up after waiting 70 days for repair of washing machine, switched to Bosch as a result
Not very different from other stories on this page but, oh boy, what a ride it was:
My 9 months old washing machine broke. This alone should be an embarrassment for Samsung but we are only really starting here.
I called Samsung and they sent a technician that came unprepared for the job (asked me if I had a metal coat hanger so they could use it as a tool), instantly strong-armed me into paid repair and had to leave quickly due to overbooking. Technician promised they'll come back next week to continue and scheduled a follow-up visit in their system for it. When the time came did not show up at all. I was never able to reach the technician’s contact number provided to me by Samsung and I was so puzzled by this that I asked Samsung’s own Call Center to follow-up and call it on three different days and they were not able to do so either.
I then asked Samsung for this job to be switched to someone else and this request was fiercely refused until they suddenly agreed. It was only towards the end of this story, when one of the Experts showed me messages sent by technician over backchannels, when I got to know that the technician actually asked to be de-allocated from this repair as well and my request alone would have been declined forever.
At a later stage technician excused himself in internal comms that I was against paid repair. This was never true. They were already 40 minutes into the "paid" repair during his first and only visit and he would have finished it if only had time for it. I said however I will bring this to Samsung to double check the validity of this approach.
I kept reaching out to Samsung Support every day over the phone and live chat to figure out steps forward. This itself proved to be pretty difficult since almost every person I interacted with required full context to be re-explained from the start before we could move on. Support continued to say they received no updates from the technician yet my repair cases got closed with "no answer from the client" as a reason. Hilarious? Not really.
I again attempted escalating daily, being constantly promised prompt updates just to never receive any real piece of information. I kept being bounced between phone and Live Chat Support, between Ireland and UK teams, Case Managers and Customer Solution and each of them attempted to point at waiting for someone else’s action as a reason for no progress. I was told that the Irish Exec team and UK head office are supervising this case yet this didn’t move it even a single bit.
After 70 days no one at Samsung had any idea who and when can continue this repair. All I’ve got back was they're continuously "escalating" or "reallocating". I felt like I was in a Groundhog Day movie. I've reported fault mid-November and at the end of January they still didn't know when the device will be fixed, if ever. I proposed an alternative route with re-seller obligating themselves to replace the device on its own if only Samsung could provide something called an Uplift Number but that turned out to be impossible as well.
We gave up and stopped proceeding with them. Luckily the shop decided to switch faulty device to another of our choice. Went with Bosch and we've been happy ever since.
In total I likely spent 15 hrs on the phone and even way more during something like 20 live chats. All of this was completely fruitless. I engaged with something like 50 different Samsung employees across multiple teams. They collectively put hundreds of work hours on chats, follow-ups, emails and escalations. Was this really needed? No, we only needed two or three hours of time from a skilled technician with a set of proper tools but this seemed to be beyond Samsung capabilities to provide. In fact I probably spent more time putting the entire chaotic story into this review than it would be needed for a skilled person to repair my device.
Anyway, compiling all the random info given to me during this time my only real takeaway from this story is: service capacity is apparently very very limited. It seems that entire coverage in the area may hinge on a one-person contractor company and if that person - for whatever reason - is not up for the job, Samsung may have zero options to provide any other help for weeks, as it seemed to be in my case.
Overall dramatic, exhausting, sad, humiliating and very unneeded experience. You may do yourself a good favour by going with brands of better reputation if service quality is something that you care about.
EDIT: To add insult to injury, immediately after I posted this review I received a text message from Samsung saying "I'm sorry we missed you, if you'd like to discuss your case further please call us on 0330 726 1010. Thank you". I've called them and the only thing they wanted to say is that they have no update on this case and are still chasing it down :)))
The worst customer service I have experienced
I used to be a big fan of Samsung products until I had a faulty product. They didn't even fix it. It took 5 attempts to collect the product.
It was sent for repair twice as they put down the wrong fault. Customer service was probably one of the worse I've ever endured.
I ended up having to buy a replacement as it took so long to repair. I had to get it repaired myself. No compensation from Samsung.
I will never buy from them again
No respect for Ireland buyers.
they have no Samsung Galaxy Note 20 in the Irish website, and when you search for appliances its 30% more expensive than any other EU country, guess why? the lazy Samsung has no branch for Ireland so Irish based buyers pay customs twice of the UK and Ireland.
Stay away from samsung absolutely rubbish!!!
Stay away from samsung. Rubbish warranty that they threaten you with charges before they've even tried to help. Then they go through irrelevant things!
He was hoping I had currys care plan as he was going to put me through to them why should you have to buy another care plan when it has 5years parts and labour which obviously is a lie!!
On the phone an hour to be told switch it off for 6 hours call us back tomorrow!! Been off overnight and still got a problem!!
They have no idea what they are talking about and can't understand what you are saying to them either, will stay away from samsung and will warn my customers about their shocking service as I sell white goods.
