Simple, well explained online system. Good communication of transactions.

No problems at all, requested transfer and received very quickly.

Very easy to set up account and I am kept up date with the progress by email.

It was easy to set up a new account and gives easy access with the app. .Also like that it pays monthly interest which you can have transferred to your nominated bank .The interest rate was one of the best for that type of account but has since lowered but we have changed to a better interest account with the same bank.

Fixed rate bond joint account maturing. Both account holders apparently need to login for maturity instructions, not just main account holder despite instruction for transfer to nominated joint account.
Login details for my wife needed changing. 7th July she 'phoned & after long call with cust. services given a secure ref valid for 30 days. She posted her driving licence to update phone number as requested. On 17th July another long call at midday but secure ref told not valid. Told a new temp. Reference number would be sent by email. This never arrived.
I had already given the instruction for maturity but when tried to login again account blocked. I 'phoned and new security details given. Put back to customer services but still couldn't login.
At this point - after at least 40 mins on phone I gave up.
Have now written a letter of complaint to be sent by recorded delivery.
Since first posting this review my wife received another secure reference by post and phoned again on 20/07/26. Despite being given a new code customer service were unable to register the code on their system so still unable to login.

Application process easy and straightforward

It was an easy no fuss experience to open an account with this bank compared to most other banks which made a nice change.

No issues with my cash isa, prompt responses to withdrawal requests.

I opened a savings account last year with Secure Trust for some money that I knew was on the way. By the time my money had arrived, the interest rate had plummeted and I moved it to a different bank.
I have now discovered that Secure Trust have a new account with a competitive interest rate so I've gradually moved money across into that from a different bank.
Unfortunately my nominated current account has a daily limit on transactions so it took several days to move money into the new Secure Trust account.
My reason for saying this is that it would be helpful if Secure Trust, in addition to informing on interest rate drops, could also inform when a new issue account becomes available with a better rate.
I may have been able to transfer within Secure Trust in one or two days instead of jumping between banks via my current account.
I've given 5 stars because Secure Trust haven't done anything wrong and their app is user friendly. I hope they are able to take note of my suggestion for improvement which may have prevented me from moving money elsewhere.

I spoke to customer services before opening account. Very helpful. Opening the account was very straightforward.

Having been an investor with Secure Trust Bank for the past 7 years I have found them to be very good with their products and keeping me up to date etc., However, other companies now offer better interest rates, but I would like to thank Kim the lady I spoke to for all the help she gave me in closing my investment.

The app was easy to use and every transaction was clear to see.

Straightforward to organise new savings account. Have since used the account which proved very easy using the app.
