I bought a tin of Smart seal for block…
I bought a tin of Smart seal for block paving silk from BQ in June , one tin should have been enough but it went on patchy so I bought another tin I had just a few patches looking at my driveway today what a mess , it’s gone very patchy all over it looks terrible. I need to get it all off and what a waste of money spending nearly £100 thinking it would be good quality. It’s only been done two months ago. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this product.

I hadn't used this product previously though found it very effective and easy to apply. I thought the price was a fair reflection of the quality and would definitely buy it again. The logistics was fast though it would have been helpful to get a time frame when delivery would take place.

Good website, bad couriers
Ordering was simple and straightforward. Delivery options were reasonable. I paid for 24-hour delivery for the parcel to arrive on a Friday. It didn't.
I spoke to the courier who promised a Saturday delivery - something to do with a logistics issue. It didn’t arrive on Saturday - something to do with an unexpected problem.
It finally arrived outside of the booked delivery slot on the Monday.
In fairness, I did not give Smartseal an opportunity to act as I didn’t see what they could have done differently. The courier, one I haven’t heard of, was truly awful and having bad couriers does make me reconsider where to buy goods.

I was looking for the best product on…
I was looking for the best product on the market to seal and stabilise my block paved driveway. Smartseal seemed to be the best rated product available from previous reviews. Although more expensive I would recommend this product as it does everything I was looking for. I used almost 2 x 25ltr of the silk finish block sealer to give 2 good coats. I used a roller to apply and the sealant spread easily. The jointing sand has set solid and the overall look is great. If the finish lasts as well as stated I would definitely use again when the drive needs resealing.
