Great value and very efficient P&R service for Gatwick
My dad swore by Cophall Park & Ride and I can see why. Booking is easy, directions to the site are clear and it is better value for money than to Gatwick Airport's own car parks. I was concerned that the claimed journey time to the airport was too short (according to Google Maps) but smiled happily when the shuttle bus took a left through a permission only barrier into a commercial zone next to the South Terminal. Only downsides were the car being covered in pine needles upon collection (damn you, Mother Nature!) and the staff at the P&R. Smile more, folks 😉. You do such a good job.

Nice friendly staff. Used to use Purple Parking but they’re now trying to restrict vehicles in size. So if you have a combi van etc they’ll likely not accept you. So I will use Cophall from now on.

Have been using for many years. Booking system is easy. Arrival processing is always quick and efficient. Used recently and on arrival 14 September the arrival car park was full and several people were looking bemused not knowing what to do for some while before anyone gave instructions. Since moving from mini buses to buses frequency of service has declined as several times we have found ourselves waiting some time at the Airport in the cold for a pick up. Mini buses took less people but were much m ore frequent and you didn't have to keep retrieving you luggage from around the bus every time it went round a corner. There is insufficient luggage space to people on the buses. However, the staff and system is efficient and we will continue to use. Just not as happy as we used to be.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re pleased to hear that you found your outbound transfer driver friendly, but we’re sorry that you did not receive the same welcoming service from some of the other members of our team.
We would particularly like to understand what you mean by “too many cars not moved quick enough”, as there isn't enough information within the review for us to understand what happened or which part of the parking process you are referring to.
We take the care, security and movement of our customers’ vehicles extremely seriously, and vehicles are parked and repositioned according to our operational requirements and customers’ scheduled return times.
We’re also disappointed to hear that you found some staff abrupt and that your return driver was not as friendly as the driver on your outbound journey. This is not the impression we want customers to leave with.
Please email customerservices@cophallparking.co.uk with your booking reference, date of travel and some further details about what happened. This will allow us to identify the staff involved and properly investigate your comments regarding the vehicle movements.

This is the second time we have used this company and both times found the staff to be very rude,I also was not happy when we returned as the car was filthy on the outside, it was obvious that it had been parked under trees as most of the tree was on the bonnet.our car was not the worst some of them you couldn’t work out what colour it was it was that bad

We are concerned by your comments regarding our staff and would like the opportunity to investigate them properly. We do, however, dispute the suggestion that our team are generally rude to customers. As you state that this has happened on both of your visits, we would particularly like to identify the bookings and establish which members of staff you dealt with on each occasion.
Unfortunately, your review provides no full name, booking references, dates of travel or vehicle registration, so we currently have no way of identifying either of your stays or investigating your concerns. We would also hope that the fact you chose to return to Cophall for a second booking following your first experience indicates that there were positive aspects to the service you received.
Regarding the condition of your vehicle, our customers’ cars are stored in secure open-air parking areas, so unfortunately leaves, pollen, tree debris, bird droppings and general dirt can accumulate while vehicles are parked outside. This does not mean that vehicles are being stored in an unsuitable or insecure location.
Please email customerservices@cophallparking.co.uk with your booking references, dates of travel and vehicle registration so that we can identify both stays and properly investigate your comments regarding our staff and the condition of your vehicle.

Simple from start to finish
Simple from start to finish. Pull in and the company take images of the car. Park and take out you luggage. Hand the keys in to one of the really friendly staff, collect you ticket and get on the bus. We went from South terminal so the journey was around 5 minutes. On return, call them with your reference, catch the bus and your car is waiting for you. Seamless experience and I would highly reccomend.
