Read all the other reviews and I agree with the opinions expressed that Laybrooks offer a 1st class service from start to finish. Brilliant company.

Absolutely delighted with Laybrook. They manufactured both a bespoke chair and bed for my mum who struggles with mobility issues. The staff have all been very kind to mum, the quality of the items is really good, and the delivery and follow up customer services piece has been completely flawless. I can't fault them.

This was purchased for my wife who is ms sufferer with complex health issues, Thornbury double ,ultimo frame ,memory sprung mattress with matching Thornbury headboard with buttons , my wife is extremely happy with this product not only extremely functional and meets her needs but extremely comfortable indeed best decision ever

I cannot recommend this company enough! From initial visit through to delivery, the communication and customer service was outstanding! I am so glad we "stumbled" upon Laybrook motion.
I bought two beds. A riser bed for carers to change me and a matching adjustable bed so I had a spare when accidents happen.
We needed a hospital bed and my vanity wouldn't allow me to have one,in the house, that looked like it was a hospital bed. Other companies do fabric headboards or just adjustable beds sold as hosptital riser beds BUT I wanted pine or oak. Daniel the sales person was lovely and not pushy. The beds arrived exactly when they said they would and I was not expected to pay the remaining 75% balance until I was satisfied. Even after that... I changed my mind about the mattress firmness (based on physio feedback) they changed the mattresses. No problem. Thank you Louisa & Maria.
Price... I think the prices were extremely competitive and reasonable especially as these are britsih made and this shows in the quality. Also, the peace of mind... they are only a phone call away is vital for peace of mind.
It is evident that Laybrook understand disability doesn't mean you should settle for poor interior decor or aesthetics. Which means that their range of adjustable beds is suitable for any home.
Despite their one and only showroom being miles away in Surrey, I'm so glad we made the visit becuase until then I had became extremely despondent about finding a bed that was right for me at the start this long journey with ever decreasing mobility and reduced independence.
My only niggle, it is tiny, I wish Daniel had told me about the slide back frame for the adjustable bed. Though not available for the riser hospital bed (obviously) it would have been great for the adjustable bed on my good days.

Laybrook are an amazing company. The staff are all wonderful people. I would like to say a big thank you to all the employees we had the pleasure of meeting or speaking to. The bed is great for me as I have arthritis and was having a lot of problems trying to sleep. Also the advantage of it being able to raise both ends has helped me with my back.

Great old fashioned ‘proper company’ service on the phone and delivery excellent some parts were missing for the base they were back within a week, with parts and free sheets

I was in the market for an adjustable bed because of various health conditions & contacted four different companies. One did not even bother to reply, two sent online brochures with no prices saying that they would have to send a sales person round to demonstrate it & only Laybrook sent a brochure with prices & comprehensive guidance on how to choose a bed. We had one company come & do a demonstration & he quoted a very high price but then did the usual tactic of saying that if I signed that day, he would give me a huge discount of more than 50%. I declined &, after a few phone call for advice & queries, had made up my mind to buy one the Laybrook's best beds which was going to cost even less than the 50% discount price the other company quoted. However, my local NHS team contacted me to tell me that I would qualify for a hospital style bed which is going to be delivered in two days. I rang Stuart at Laybrooks to say that I would not be purchasing from him & he said that he was very pleased for me & that, if I needed any help or advice in the future, they would only be too happy to assist. Thank you to a great company.

My experience with this company has been brilliant, from ordering down to the super quick and efficient delivery. The bed was for my elderly father in law who has Parkinsons and Dementia and it absolutely does the job.

I dealt with Charlotte at Laybrook and from the first conversation she was excellent. Always helpful and supportive, great product knowledge and a can-do attitude. She is brilliant, as are her company and its products.

From the outset using Laybrook was a very simple process. Their website is very clear and easy to use, effectively enabling me to “build a bed” to our requirements.
The staff were extremely helpful with recommending which bed we would need for my mother upon her discharge from hospital. Donna dealt with my initial order and explained that a priority order would be the quickest method of ordering due to the urgency. The Christmas break delayed the process but when I spoke to Priscilla after this she expedited the order and we received the bed early the following day. Both members of staff showed great empathy and understanding and made me feel that our order and my mum’s welfare was important to them.
The delivery men as well were very helpful, prompt and efficient explain clearly how to operate the mechanism.
The bed itself is of good quality and was not as costly as I was expecting it to be.
I am very pleased with the service from Laybrook and would recommend them.

I was contacted by another Laybrook salesman early Friday evening, regarding my earlier experiences. The salesman's name was Dan who asked for a chance to give me a quote of which he did in a professional & polite manner.
I have now ordered a new bed chosen with the help of Dan, hoping that the bed meets my expectations. Thank you Dad.

Thanks to Laybrook for a professional, helpful service. They made sure the draws I requested were on the correct side after they noticed it was the other side to the old one in the pictures I sent, to be taken away.
Said in email I'd get a call when delivery was near, got call when they were outside. Apart from that, perfect service and very helpful team.

We bought this bed for my 86 year old Mum,who was having mobility issues following a fall. It's made all the difference to her. At fairly short notice we asked if the bed could be delivered and assembled in quick time as She'd had an overnight hospital visit due to breathing difficulties due to not being elevated in bed. It was delivered by 9am five working days later. Sean the engineer couldn't have been more accommodating. Many thanks Laybrook

This is one of the most responsive and responsible companies I have ever bought from. They take customer service seriously and have stood by their promise of a no-quibble guarantee. As a result my aging mum now has the right bed for her needs. I cannot thank them enough.
Initially I visited the show room, briefed them and we agreed a product. They delivered it but sadly my Mum could not get on with it. The team in Bicester diligently worked through the options again and we agreed a different product. They ensured it fit both my Mum's needs and the budget. They were so helpful. They replaced the original bed and everyone is now happy.

The bed itself has made my wife's life much easier, however, the original bed delivery, although on time, was missing some parts and they had to return at a later date to complete their work.

It would also make sense to have spacers between the headboard and the frame, as the mattress rubs on the headboard every time the upper portion of the bed is raised.

But apart from these minor issues, the bed and service is great,

From the phone call I made to discuss my needs to having the bed installed I was treated with respect.
The bed came quite a lot sooner than I expected which was lovely. The team of installers were polite and friendly, they just got on with the job quickly and efficiently. There was no mess left.
The bed is lovely and easy to use. It is really well made obviously by a firm that has pride in its products.

We went to the show room at Bicester and Stuart spent a great deal of time making sure that we had the right specification for the bed arrangement to suit our requirements. The pair of beds which are coupled together were made in a reasonable time followed by delivery arranged to suit our requirements. The beds were installed by very courteous fitters to a high standard. We had ordered an extra set of mattress restrainers in case we split the two beds at a future date, which had unfortunately been missed off the delivery, but they were sent out to us the following day and a few days later a Fitter adjusted the under bed light positions for us. The beds are as we expected and the service provided by Laybrook exceeded our expectations. We would highly recommend this Company.
