The best Insurance Company for Motorcycle and best Service

I applied online, and had to call because Lexham wouldn't give an online quote. No problems with the lovely young lady I spoke to but the premium for a policy for learner CBT was £992 on a new Voge R125S, price new £2999, fully garaged. Bike Sure have quoted £192 through multiple other online price comparison sites. £800 difference?

What on earth is going on? I'm 71, retired, clean driving record, maximum NCB, and only one blame-free claim fully recovered in 46 years' driving.

This despite it being recommended online as a good and competitive insurer for learner motorcyclists.

Might be the cheapest but youll pay when you need make a claim, seriously use a different company, you may pay more but it'll be worth it in the end.
Especially if you pay monthly, if you unfortunately have to claim they firstly make you pay off the entire policy and you excess before any sort of payout. My lads just had his 25 plate 125 stolen and he's ended up oweing lexham £400. Absolute rob dogs

I signed insurance agreement for one year with significant mandatory excess of £1000+ related to my approaching purchase of the KTM Super Adventure S from SuperBike Factory, which is was planed to be collected in the few next days (deposit had been paid already a week ago )
When I drove to SuperBike Factory in Crawley , I found locked doors and security with dog who said me to comeback on Monday as there is technical issues , later on on weekend I found that the SuperBike factory is unstaffed and collapsed with administration .
I contacted Lexham insurance for cancellation next Monday , explaining what happened that I have not received motorcycle and paid deposit back , the shop now is closed and no stuff there who able to respond and explain what to do .
So Lexham insurance did not believe me despite the fact that I send them screenshots of the bank statement and chargeback request regarding the paid disposition , communication with SuperBike Factory and also news taken from internet about SuperBike Factory administration collapse.
Lexham insurance said that without confirmation from the SuperBike Factory of non collected motorcycles they will charge me for cancellation, also despite that on the agreement clearly stated that I have 14 days cooling period where I can cancel without giving the reason , I said this impossible to provide evidence of not received motorcycle as the SuperBike Factory does not pick the phone anymore and shop is now closed and it won’t be open again, as they not trading anymore .
Lexham insurance charged me for cancellation where I was forced to cancel due to circumstances described above .
Please here is my advice, avoid this company, lack of human understanding and empathy. I lost twice by SuperBike factory and Lexham .

Awful comany to try and get a hold of! After 4 days of trying to get through - being cut off! All I want to do is change my bank details and its IMPOSSIBLE - have emailed als to try and get a response - absolute nightmare!!!!!!!

Terrible experience. We’ve tried countless times to change our policy to add our private plate. Our van is not insured and Lexhaminsurance just continually have us on Hold with no way of amending or cancelling. Absolutely shocking. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Have been trying to get in touch with lexham since 7th june regarding a missed payment
Cant get through on the phone so I emailed their enquiries email that they tell everyone to email on 7th june. Its now 4th july and I have not had a reply

Absolutely awful company, avoid anything to do with it as much as you can. If you want anything from them enjoy the one hour wait on hold, at least they’re consistent with crap customer service and a lovely £55 fee for changing any details

Had a really hard time trying to get through on the phone was in a que for 40 minutes today to try to swap for a new motorcycle, then on the phone for 30 minutes mostly put on hold and then told they don't cover such large bikes. Then transferred to another department to cancel my insurance and on hold waiting for someone to pick up the phone for 30 minutes, had enough and gave up.Had to use the portal but then you don't know how much you are getting back. Never again.

I am really disappointed with the service and the money I am paying monthly for my scooter insurance. My scooter got stolen from my house but somehow I found back because of my Live GPS. The thief’s damaged my scooter a lot and also stole the black box from it. When I claimed from the Lexham Insurance company they took a long time and told at the end that I have to pay 177 pounds more to claim. Are you serious? What’s the point of having a insurance If I have to pay the money back by myself. They are here to rob you.

Emailed them 3 weeks ago, no one has bothered replying. Copied in complaints, still no reply. Shouldnt have made the mistake of renewing with them. If you claim through them they'll push you to claim comprehensively and you have to fight if you refuse. Told the 3rd party was uninsured despite documents and the third party saying otherwisen- I had to do all the admin to keep it progressing. I was lucky I eventually had my handler changed which improved it somewhat. If you want any sort of customer service, I'd recommend going elsewhere.

Hoping next year I'll be able to go with someone else, at this point id pay more to not deal with their lack of customer service.

I'm very satisfied with this service; whenever I call, I receive perfect service, which I really appreciate. Everything is very well explained.
