I have been a member of Medicash for over 40 years and their service is always efficient and prompt. I have never had any problems with making claims and staff have always been helpful .

Its worth joining its set up really well the app is easy to use, claims get dealt with quickly and customer service is excellent they are really helpful. There are lots of different parts to the app but one of the best is SkinVision I’ve used it a few times to track skin changes and also used the photos for my GP referral it’s really good. I’m glad I joined it’s been worth it

Never had any problems with Medicash, I've been a member for many years. Would have given 5 stars however when I asked what my cover was for a consultation fee on two separate occasions nobody explained that my plan only paid out 50%. Thankfully a supervisor resolved the issue after listening to the recorded telephone conversations.

Extremely disappointing and misleading…
Extremely disappointing and misleading company.
I recently started psychotherapy and counselling sessions and submitted a claim, which was promptly rejected on the basis that these treatments are not covered by my policy.
Medicash advertises support for bereavement, health, and stress, yet in reality this appears to apply only if you use their own counselling services — a significant limitation that is not made clear in the policy documents.
For a company presenting itself as a health insurance provider, the lack of proper and transparent mental health cover is frankly unacceptable. This feels misleading at best.
Overall, my experience has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. I would strongly advise anyone considering their plans to read the fine print very carefully before signing up.

I’m sorry to hear that your recent claim for psychotherapy and counselling sessions was declined.
As outlined in our policy documentation, counselling is covered only when accessed through our approved third-party provider, and unfortunately sessions arranged independently would not be eligible for reimbursement. We always recommend checking the policy Terms and Conditions before incurring costs to ensure eligibility.
