After multiple phone calls

After multiple phone calls, emails not replied to/“received” and only having 4 days to prove NCB from my other insurance company before they cancelled or increased my policy price, I finally got it sorted on the last day.

The ladies i dealt with over the phone couldn’t have been more helpful in fairness to them, putting me on hold to speak to another team to see if they had received the proof of no claims bonus,

At first I was sending the wrong document although it matched the requirements from them, but there was no email reply to state why or help me know exactly what was needed. It came down to the last day to prove so after another 4 phone calls, and multiple failed attempts to receive PDF files from me, the lady over the phone finally came back from the other team to say the proof had been successful, strangely enough I had just told the lady I wanted to cancel the policy myself and get a full refund and shop elsewhere…

No idea how the price changes

Found it really difficult to understand the quote system, price quoted supposed to be guaranteed for 30 days then told it’s recalculated every time I log on?? What?? Then there’s the waiting on the phone… far too long, once was 30 minutes waiting! Simply too long.

I’m sorry to hear that you’re unhappy with your recent experience. I understand how frustrating it must have been when you were unable to obtain a quote for your new vehicle and then needed to cancel the policy.

In some circumstances we may be unable to provide a quote for certain vehicles due to our underwriting criteria. When this happens and the policy is cancelled, the cancellation fee outlined in the policy terms and conditions can still apply, as the policy had already been set up.

I appreciate that this situation has been disappointing, and I’m sorry for the frustration it has caused. Your feedback is important and has been noted, and we will be in touch to discuss this further.
