Quick appointment, clean premises, clinicians, nurses reception were all good. Use of kenalog was good as I didn't need to use any eye drops . Results of cataract surgery both eyes were excellent.

Poor telephone service for NHS patients
I hung on for 20 minutes at 1.30 pm waiting to speak to someone to change my appointment date. I was then cut off. However, the following morning at 8.20 I got through immediately.

Excellent care and expertise
I had bilateral cataract surgery in Didsbury and every from start to finish was excellent. My surgeon, Jack Gormley, explained each step of the procedure, and he and his team made the whole procedure stress and pain free. The aftercare has been excellent and I am delighted with the results. I would have no hesitation in recommending Optegra.

I was very nervous about this operation. Optegra were well organised, friendly staff and I had confidence in the surgeons. It has been a good experience overall.
I marked it 4 because it so difficult to get through to them on the phone, you usually hold for 30 minutes upwards.

Experience at Optegra Eye Clinic

This was my second cataract operation and both were carried out in a very efficient way. After my first operation on my right eye I had no qualms at all as I went for the operation on my left eye.
