I would like to thank the team at SpaMedica Birmingham for the excellent care they provided to my father-in-law throughout his cataract treatment.

From the very beginning, the appointments were arranged quickly and efficiently, which was greatly appreciated. The assessment was thorough, professional and clearly explained, and all the staff we encountered were polite, compassionate and extremely helpful.

We were also given clear advice and guidance regarding aftercare, as well as what to expect before and after the procedure. The team went above and beyond to ensure my father felt comfortable, reassured and well looked after at every stage.

The level of professionalism and patient care was outstanding, and I would have no hesitation in recommending SpaMedica Birmingham to anyone requiring cataract treatment. Thank you to the entire team for making what could have been a stressful experience so smooth and reassuring.

100% recommend sarmadica Birmingham, cataract surgery only took no more then 40 minutes from start to finish, staff was very good and friendly with a relaxed atmosphere, surgery was clear and talked to you all the way through it. Highly recommended to others.

I have had several hospital visits over the years but have never met such genuinely friendly caring staff from the moment I went for my first assessment to the surgeon and theatre staff ,made a quite a stressful time for me so much easier and calming.Thankyou so much.

I was at Kendal on 29/9/26 for a pre-assessment. Everyone from the Receptionists onwards were absolutely brilliant!

I'm partly deaf, so as my husband was with me, they spoke to him as well as to myself and were very patient when I asked them to repeat.

They talked us through everything, various eye tests, what would happen, then told us about the operation and what would be involved.

We were given two very informative booklets which we've read and will keep.

The place is immaculately clean and tidy, and, strange thing to say, but even the takeaway tea from the vending machine was tasty and hot!

10/10 and 5 gold stars to all the staff.

It was a brilliant experience at spamedica. I have had both cataracts removed now. The staff are so helpful and put you a ease. Excellent surgery, no complaints whatsoever. However, a complete lack of follow up. Can't contact them and the Taunton facility do not answer the phone. Complete disregard for customer satisfaction and they obviously do not care if my surgery was successful or not. I am left wondering if the non-NHS patients get treated the same way.......

Would just like to say what a fabulous service you gave my husband (Michael Sowter) when he had his Cataract surgery on the 25th Sept. The transport was excellent as well on time and really caring drivers. Michael Sowter.

I had my left eye cataract surgery on 18/09/2026, all the staff were helpful.The surgeon Mr Elaswad did a wonderful job with the surgery and I have had no problems with the new lens, my vision with the left eye is better than the right eye.
I would recommend anyone to use SpaMedica Sale.

this week i had my second cataract surgery done at Wembley, staff from reception to surgeon all a helpful friendly bunch, at first i thought the process was a bit like a production line, but when you sit and watch the process you can see how it maximises the service

Just had my second cataract operation at SpaMedics and can’t recommend them enough. Lovely staff put me at ease on both occasions and the surgeons are wonderful. Brilliant experience and anyone worried about the operation should have no fears.

I had two cataracts operations between July & September 2026 at SpaMedica in Thornaby on Tees. Treatment proved to be very inconsistent at this establishment. The first operation was fine, but the second was very rushed before and after the procedure. It was very painful and roughly handled by a registrar under consultant supervision. I was left with a bloodshot and bruised eye. My optician, who recommended them, was unaware that registrars sometimes did the precedure and could have been told before hand. I cannot recommend their service for NHS patients.

Highly proficient and welcoming team. Comprehensive and professional service for my medical procedure; a great asset to the healthcare sector.

Great service at SpaMedica very helpful and friendly team makes patients feel at ease and comfortable,nothing is too much trouble definitely recommend them to anyone who needs a referral.
