Always pay me promptly but…
Always pay me promptly. I must admit though, that I’m charged over £50 per month for my single cover. And don’t get that much back on dental and optical services! I’ve often thought of leaving, but at my age I’d better not. I do think it’s a bit of a rip off though!!

However, please do not feel as though you're trapped/ locked into keeping a policy because you've had it a long time. If you do not feel you're getting the same value from the plan as you once were, there are likely to be other options available, such as:
• Transferring to a lower/ cheaper level of cover.
• Transferring to a completely different plan (which may be more suited to your personal needs).
• Transferring to a new provider entirely (we’d obviously be very sorry to see you leave, but if another provider’s plan is better for you personally, we ultimately want what’s best for you).
If you’d like to discuss any of the potential options BHSF can offer, please get in touch with our Helpdesk (0121 454 3601) and we’ll see what we can do.

He was efficient, helpful and friendly and my query was quickly dealt with. Also wait time to speak to someone was only 4 minutes and was told number of callers in front.

When a policyholder submits their claim, there's certain information we will always require so it can be considered. This is why our 'Terms Of Use' (TOU) must be read and accepted before submitting any claim via the Online Portal, as this clearly states exactly what we need.
Unfortunately, if you don't follow the TOU, or provide the information stated in the policy T&Cs, claims will be declined and require re-submission. If you're ever struggling to do this, please contact our Helpdesk (0121 454 3601) who will happily guide you through what we need in order to consider a claim.
