Our third campervan from this dealer and we have been looked after very well by James who has dealt with any problems in a friendly and professional way. As we have upgraded each time he has fully explained each vehicle and given sound advice on good and bad points with each camper and we think we have now found the van of our dreams. I would recommend you try this dealer if you want a good experience when deciding on such a major purchase and good back up when you take the plunge

We had been looking for a motorhome for some time without success. Though not local to Preston we happened to be in the area so decided to call in to John Charles. We found James to be immensely helpful. His advice on the features of different vans was invaluable and he was able to point out their pros and cons so that we were in a better position to decide which features were most important to us. His knowledge is detailed and practical, his explanations clear and at no point did we feel pressured to make a decision.
We chose a motorhome that day and we are delighted with both it and the service we received.

Bought a coachman VIP from John Charles and mainly spoke with James about the deal however I must say that the whole team there were a delight ! The caravan is fantastic with no issues what so ever.

What was so impressive was that I bought the van and collected it the same day ! It had been serviced valleted and had all the checks done on it !

WARNING -Please be wary before dealing with them. I have an ongoing issue with this dealer- VW Caddy - Not fit for purpose / unsatisfactory quality.The van has catastrophically failed.

I hope they do the right thing and resolve this by refunding me. Which will then allow me to amend my recommendation.

We couldnt be happier with the service from John Charles Caravans. James met us on our 1st visit and put our minds at rest with his relaxed way of dealing with people. We did eventually come back on a separate visit, test drive and eventually purchase a motorhome which we absolutely love. The piece of mind James gave us left us in. Before we drove our new Motorhome away we had a full 2 hour walk through of everything we would need to know and that has proved very useful whilst away.

We have bought a few caravans from John Charles over the years but this year we changed to a motorhome. What a great decision! A hassle free change after years of caravanning. Although not a huge range of Motorhomes, all are of good quality. Same service as we have come to expect from John Charles. Have recommended to friends and family. Keep up the good work! We bought a 2001 Abbey caravan from John Charles Caravans a few months ago and have since had two trips away. We are very pleased with our purchase and would definitely recommend this company if you're thinking of buying a caravan. The caravan was ready for collection on time, everything they said they would do was done and they'd even put two new tires on it. They where very helpful and since then My sister has also bought a caravan, from their sister company down the road and is also very happy with theirs. If your thinking of buying a caravan, then this company gets a big thumbs up from me.
