As a very experienced buyer of vehicles but as a first motorhome buyer the purchase was a major one for us of a 6 year old 21,000 miles Bailey 760SE approach and not the simplest

The vehicle had been on a private plate from previous owner and the V5 took a while to come back from DVLA and was also on LLoyds dealer stocking finance which John Charles cleared in full to give a full and clear HPI before the balance was paid.

Minor repair to the tow bar and a bumper scuff were completed to a good standard and an engine service and a new 12 month , no advisories MOT was all pre done.

The handover was very comprehensive and very thorough , a new TV was fitted and tuned and proved to be working once set to pick up the right satellites before we drove off.

Price was good , but for us it was not all about price , I found the exact same vehicle that after a negotiation was £1500 cheaper but with 7000 more miles on it and a patchy and advisory littered MOT history.

That purchase would have been via motorhome broker , who would not take a credit card deposit which I wanted to do to have Section 75 protection.

John Charles negotiated a fair price £1250 off their asking price but still gave us a 1 year warranty.

All in all great service , we look forward to using the vehicle.

Not only did they put up with my constant enquiries because I was buying the van without seeing it, they ensured it was serviced and cleaned before a local caravan Inspector Alex Bryars came to Check it out.
A Forest of Dean caravan transporter delivered it to me near Bristol for us to take it to Torquay All these people did a marvellous job at a good price and if you buying a caravan without seeing it then you can be assured of top quality product from John Charles with excellent service from these people 10/10

Would highly recommend John Charles if ur thinking of buying a caravan Tom who I delt with was fantastic could not do anough for us .
Also made four of us a brew great guy when we picked the van up we were shown how to use it and set it all up was well impressed with the service and very friendly staff

We are new to caravaning and this was our first caravan purchase. Tom at John Charles who handled our purchase was fantastic. Helpful and nothing too much trouble, the caravan came with a 3 month warranty. We have had a couple of minor issues. However, John Charles sorted the issue no fuss no issues just great service. I would have no hesitation in recommending John Charles and will certainly be in touch for our next caravan purchase.

All staff were extremely helpful, and have continued to be helpful since I took my caravan home. I have called several times for advice and they have been very willing to help me find a solution or explain things to me.

I have never been so pleased and satisfied with a purchase to this degree before. This is the first caravan I have ever purchased. I was a little nervous and skeptical at first (as any first time buyer should be). But Ashley and his team really did go out of their way to make me feel comfortable and prove to me that coming here was the right decision. I would highly recommend this caravan company to anyone who is thinking of purchasing a caravan. I will be recommending this company to friends and family. I am absolutely over the moon! 10/10! Adore our caravan, after care service from Ashley was shambolic.
However, Philip was fantastic, sorted things out in double quick time once aware of the 3 month wait.
Shaun the engineer, well, I cannot praise him highly enough.. What an absolute credit to the company, friendly, professional, prompt and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. How caravan after sales should be.
If you can avoid Ashley then I cannot recommend this company highly enough.

We have just bought a second caravan from John Charles caravans. The service was really good, they towed it to our site and took our old one away. Ashley, the site manager, ran through the basic workings of the caravan, as the alde heating was new to us, we were used to a gas fire. However the next day we couldn't work it so Dave, the engineer came out and went through it again, He had great patience! We did have a couple of faults with the caravan but have to say they were sorted straight away. I would recommend John Charles caravans.

Well satisfied with the sales. Still awaiting a front near side window blind as promised.
