I bought a new oven 6 months ago from…
I bought a new oven 6 months ago from the Brighton store. At 4:30pm on Christmas Eve it stopped working - sadly, these things happen!
Went into the Brighton Store on Saturday 27th December and by 11:00 am on Monday 29th December a new, replacement oven was delivered to my home.
Staff were great, no fuss and went out of their way to get my problem solved.
I have bought a number of appliances from the Brighton Store over the last 25 years and will continue to do so in the future - I would not recommend going anywhere else and the prices are competitive.
Plus you can talk to someone who wants to help!

Helpful team and good range of products. My only niggle is the manufacturer reduced the cost by £50 but I have to apply for that which is difficult requiring paper work

Easy exchange of faulty fridge freezer
We recently had a faulty, non repairable, fridge freezer which was under warranty. We were given a code from the manufacturer to take into Carters for an exchange, which was easy to do. We actually decided to change to a different make of fridge freezer, which Carters were very helpful with, as we have limited space for the appliance.
We were even refunded some money due to a change in price and price match!
The new fridge freezer was delivered the next day.
We are very impressed with the way the exchange was dealt with.

Quick delivery of oven (ordered…
Quick delivery of oven (ordered Tuesday, delivered Thursday). Installers arrived on time.
Unfortunately, the oven installation was poor and tripped my electrics. I had to arrange for my own electrician to come out and fix the issue.
I emailed pictures of the issues and Chris Carter (MD) very quickly resolved the situation by refunding the installation cost, payment of the electricians invoice and sending installers on refresher installation course.
Although Carters didn't get it right 1st time, the remediation was outstanding and I felt like a truly valued customer and I don't think I would have got this service from an online brand.

over the phone for an initial enquiry…then to the shop
over the phone for an initial enquiry about what was in stock, I found the person who spoke to me very helpful, and nothing was any trouble. It was so good to be treated so courteously. the same thing applied when we went to the shop, the same good service, knowledgeable, help, patience. Thank goodness Carters still has a proper shop with proper service, where the customer comes first and is treated well.

Ronnie was great and very patient with…
Ronnie was great and very patient with us when purchasing a new washer dryer. She walked us through all the different features, capacities and warranties and helped us navigate through the plethora of options helping us find what was best for our needs. We did feel a bit let down by the delivery experience as it didn’t reflect everything else (felt very rushed and left some marks on our floorboards). All in all we’re super happy with our new machine!

Our go to suppliers every time! Always get great service and good prices. Being able to pay for installation of new goods and for removal of old ones (most recently a dishwasher and a washing machine) is a brilliant time/headache saver too!
